When there's a fire, you can harm yourself if you try to walk through the smoke. But when you get down, you have a better chance of surviving. Some of us are trying to get through life by walking through the smoke, and what we end up doing is choking ourselves and harming ourselves, trying to do it our way. But God says, when you get down, when you get on your knees and pray, when you get on your face and fast, when you stay down and seek my face, I will clear the smoke. When you pray, if you believe that you will receive it, it shall come to pass. The smoke will clear when you get down.
